 Therapy Dogs Inc.

Our Mission

Therapy Pets Serving Mini-Cassia is a local group of volunteers that are registered either through the Delta Society or by Therapy Dogs Inc. We are working together to serve the Mini-Cassia area. We are currently visiting nine local facilities. If you have passed your evaluation with your pet and wish to join our group we would be glad to have you. Additional teams are always welcome to join. The number of visits and choice of facilities are up to each member. To learn more about our current pet partner teams and their registrations check the links below; If you are interested in obtaining more information about our group, or having our group visit your facility, please send an e-mail to  therapypets@yahoo.com. The Frequently Asked Questions page has information on pet therapy and answers common questions people have about pet therapy. Therapy Pets group is having team evaluations for pet teams on April 28th. If you are interesting in testing with your pet please contact us.

Currently we are looking for more teams. There are day time opportunities for additional reading dogs at the local junior high schools, dogs to assist with victims in court, pets to assist a therapist in both speech and physical therapy with children at the local hospital. There are additional facilities that would like for us to visit but the 9 locations we visit currently are about all the group can handle.
