Web ChangesCurrently Therapy Pets is celebrating their 10th anniversary of the group. Ten years ago a small group of people and their dogs started visiting a couple of local facilities and it has grown into the current group.
We need more volunteers and teams. Currently we need more who can work during the day, reading dogs at the local Junior High schools, Court dog for child victims, and working with a local therapist in speech and physical therapy at a local hospital. In addition to these we have had requests for reading dogs at the libraries and several additional facilities would like us to start visiting.
Recent Media Coverage of Therapy Pets Serving Mini-CassiaTherapy pets were invited to two local churches for the blessing of the animals. We had a booth at the Minidoka Memorial Hospital Health Fair on October 1st. Some pictures of the dogs have been in the paper from the health fair. |
